What is Faith?What Power does Faith holds? The Weapon of the People of Faith is Dua (Supplication). And What is Divine Decree ?(qadr)
The Messenger of God, (ﷺ), said : "Whoever bears witness that there is no god except Allah, and that Muhammad (ﷺ) is His servant and sincere Messenger, will enter Paradise."
(Mujam' Al Kabir)
The Messenger of God, ﷺ, said : There is nothing more honorable to Allah than the believer.
(Majma of Al Haythami)
The Messenger of God, (ﷺ), said: The angels said: O our Lord, You have given the children of Adam the world, so they eat, drink, ride, and dress, and we glorify You with praise, and do not eat, drink, or play.
So just as you have given them the world, give us the Hereafter. He said: I will not make the offspring of one whom I have created with My hands like one to whom I said, “Be,” and he was."

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said "Actions are according to the Divine Decree, and the provision is guaranteed, and the term (of life) is fixed, and the repentance of the one who repents is accepted and the supplication of the one who supplicates is answered."
(Sahih Bukhari)
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said, "Verily, Allah has written the destinies of all creatures fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth."
(Musnad Ahmad)
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). said: "When the people of Allah are in a situation in which they despair and are sad then He Laughs at them because he knows that he will bless them and what is written for them ahead."

This is the ost important thing that brings one Faith and believeing in all of them is a must inorder to acheive Faith.
And Faith is something beautiful and strange because you must know that faith is something like believing something and if you believe.
That nothing can happen to you either good or bad unless Allah wants then it will be called Faith.
Faith should be so strong that one should believe that even he can get blasted by a bomb but won't die if Allah (SWT) wants him to live this is what you call faith.
And Our actions are free and we can do whatever we want as we have free-will but there is one thing which we can never know about that is the divine decree and our actions are if you do something but you don't know what will be the result of it and what will happen.
For example: One can throw a cup but he doesn't know for sure wether it will break into peices or survive and the action is like that we can do something but the result of our action is decided by Allah (SWT) and this is why we supplicate so that our actions get a better result.
And Dua is the Power of the Believer because Dua is something which is extremely strong.
Imam Ali (AS), said: "Dua is the weapon of the Believer."
And in another saying: "That a Muslim needs Dua more than hardwork." This is because a man will be able to do hardwork but if he doesn't make dua then he doesn't know wether he will get the full reward of his hard work or not and Dua makes it better for him.
And Imam Tajuddin Al Subki (rh) in his "taqibat Shafi" has a narration of Imam Ali (AS). "A Man was making a sound but was nowhere to be seen then Imam Ali said bring that man who is giving a speech but is not seen, And that man was brought there and he was actually in such a condition that he couldn't stand up. Then He asked Imam Ali (AS) for prayer and he first asked him if his Father his happy with him and he narrated the story and then he told him that he was happy with me. Then Imam Ali (AS) prayed Nafl (Voulantary prayer) and then after he completed it he Said:"Get Up" And that man got up and it was like that. Nothing had happened to him and he got up that he could even run, A man who couldn't stand up got in such a condition only because of him saying 'Get Up".
And this Miraclous Act of a Wali is also about dua and his words were not his but rather the words of Allah and when a Wali speaks he doesn't speak from his mouth rather its the word of Allah and then what he says gets fulfilled.
And The meaning of Telling this Story while talking about Dua is that you Imam Ali asked him first about are your parents or father happy with you ? and when he learned about his father with whom he used to live with was happy with him then he prayed for him.
Dua is not accepted unless people are happy with you and if you are not completeting someones rights on you and if people are not happy with you then God is not happy with you and if you make the people pleased with you then God will be pleased with you and He will then answer your prayers.
And Another thing from the story of Imam Ali (AS) we learned that its a must for a Muslim to pray Nafl if he has any kind of need because they help him earn the pleasure of Allah (SWT).
And Making immidiately after praying Nafl is the most recommended act as we can see in the Story above that making Dua after Nafl is more likely to be accepted and Gets accepted Easily so Making Dua that time is the best thing to do. And The Reason why i am writing this is because Sometimes People get disappointed when their Supplication doesn't get answered and they turn away from the Deen and stop being religious.
And If your prayer doesn't get answered then you should first see what is wrong and if there is anything in which you are wrong?
And if not then do not lose hope keep supplicating and pray more Nafl because when Dua is made with Faith its accepted then.
And those who make dua and still get disappointed are on wrong because if you don't have Faith on Allah (SWT) that he will fulfill your need (the thing you are asking for) then your Dua won't get accepted and it won't be of use because Dua without faith is not a dua.
