The word "assassin" is actually derived from the Hashashin, and because of them, this word came into existence. They were Isma'il Nizari Shia, the followers of Hasan Sabbah. That group was founded in Alamut before the start of the 11th century. Even during the time of Saladin Ayubi (rh), they tried to hold him back at times. I have read a saying of Marco Polo about these Hashashin: "The Old Man of the Mountain ruled his followers with a cunning unmatched in all the lands, by drugging them and promising them paradise. Then the Old Man of the Mountain would bring his young men into a paradise of beautiful gardens, flowing wine, and enchanting maidens, convincing them it was heaven. They were promised a return to this paradise if they carried out his orders, and killing themselves for him was his way of telling them that they would go to this paradise forever." "They were taught to obey unquestioningly and to believe that death was but a small price to pay for...
Difference between Akbar and Sultan Aurangzeb
Vincent Smith in Akbar the Great Mogul: “Din-i-Ilahi never succeeded in winning mass acceptance, nor was it a religion in the traditional sense, it was never a religiion thats a misconception. It was more an expression of Akbar’s eclectic personality.” Badayuni, wrote in Muntakhab-ut-Tawarikh: “Akbar encouraged the Hindus to practice their customs openly which was fine, and he showed disregard for the Sharia, which caused great unrest among orthodox Muslims.” Stanley Lane-Poole in Medieval India: “Akbar’s Rajput marriages, while presented as acts of tolerance, were pragmatic moves to secure loyalty from powerful Hindu clans. These alliances were strategic, not necessarily driven by liberalism.” Vincent Smith: “Although Akbar’s policies were revolutionary for his time, they planted seeds of division within the empire. Orthodox Muslims viewed his secular approach as a betrayal of Islamic governance.” In Ain-i-Akbari: “His Majesty abolished the tax (jizya) on non-Muslims, as he believed t...
The Miraculous Verses of the Holy Quran, for which even contemporary (Modern) science cannot offer an explanation for.
Quran (Surah At-Talaq) 65:12: "It is Allah who created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. His command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent, and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge." The Words here are mentioned 'the likes of the earth and the heavens meaning different realms or dimensions within the Earth'. We know that the previous tafsirs of this Ayah were limited to the knowledge of people as they didn't had access to current level of science and through modern science we can look for some possible meanings of this verse like is this about the multi-verse? For example: String Theory: String theory is the idea that the fundamental building blocks of the universe are not point-like particles, but tiny, vibrating strings of energy. These strings can vibrate at different frequencies, and their vibrations determine the properties of particles, like mass and charge. Essentially, the universe is like...
Saying of Imam Shafi (rh)
"Every good thing for the Muslim is through the sake of Rasool Allah ﷺ and whatever bad does not befall us is also by his ﷺ grace." (Al Risala pg 17) قال امام الشافعي: "كل خير للمسلم هو بفضل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكل شر لا يصيبنا فهو أيضًا ببركته عليه الصلاة والسلام."
Surah Al-Imran: 59, the verse
The Prophet - peace be upon him - was commanded to challenge them through a miraculous way, which is: the mutual invocation of curses. And the meaning of "mubahala": invoking a curse upon the wrongdoer from both parties. When this verse was revealed, the Messenger - peace be upon him - invited the delegation of Najran to mubahala. The Messenger of God - peace be upon him - came out carrying Al-Hussein, holding the hand of Al-Hasan, with Fatimah walking behind him, and Ali behind her, and he said to them: When I pray, say "Amen." The bishop of Najran said: O Christians: I see so birght and lighted faces that, if they asked God to move a mountain from its place, He would do so. So do not invoke curses and be destroyed, leaving no Christian on the face of the earth until the Day of Judgment. Then they accepted the tribute and left. The Messenger of God - peace be upon him - said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, the punishment had descended upon the people o...
The Holy Quran and Modern Science:
Cosmology and the Origin of the Universe: Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran: "Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass, then We opened them out?" This verse literally proved the big-bang theory and proved that what was written 1400 years ago to be correct and modern science confirms it, Aswell. The Origin of Life and Water: Science says that everything was created from water and cannot live without water, so this is what Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran: "And We made from water every living thing. Then will they not believe?" (Quran 21:30) The Protective Role of the Earth's Atmosphere: "And We made the sky a protected canopy, but they turn away from its signs." (Quran 21:32) "The Earth's atmosphere is a protective shield, absorbing and deflecting harmful solar radiation." – NASA Proved by the Holy Quran again. Development of the Human Embryo: "Then We made the sperm into a clot of con...
The virtues of winter
: Rasul Allah (S) said: "Fasting in winter is the cool gain (means an easy reward)". (Tirmidhi 787 and in Musnad Ahmad) Qatadah narrated to us, Anas narrated to us, he said: Abu Huraira (RA) said: Shall I not guide you to the cool gain? We said: And what is that, O Abu Huraira? He said: Fasting in winter. (Sunan Al Kubara by Imam Bayhaqi Hadith no 8531) from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri who said: The Messenger of Allah - peace be upon him - said: "Winter is the spring of the believer; its day is short, so he fasts, and its night is long, so he stands [in prayer]." (Sunan Al Kubara by Imam Bayhaqi Hadith no 8532) Al-Hasan Al Basri (rh) said: The believer's best season is winter: its night is long for standing in prayer, and its day is short for fasting. Qatada (rh) said: The angels rejoice in winter for the believer, as the day is short, so he fasts, and the night is long, so he stands in prayer. And when Ubayd ibn Umair al-Laythi (ra) came in winter, he would say:...
Imam Ibn Al Qayyim (rh) in Zaad Al Maad (/222)
Then he places the right hand on the back of the left hand above the wrist and forearm. There is no authentic report about their placement but the famous one is mentioned from Ali bin Abi Talib RA that he said: The Sunnah is to place the hand on the hand in prayer below the navel Ibn Abi Shaybah said: The Sunnah is what is narrated from the Prophet ﷺ and it is established that he used to place his right hand on his left in prayer. Abu Ishaq Al Jawzjani said: As for what about above the navel and below it I do not know it from the Prophet ﷺ except that Ali RA said It's from the Sunnah in the obligatory prayer to place the right hand on the left below the navel.
Ahadith on the Virtues of Sending Salawat upon the Prophet (S) on Friday.
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Al-Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani, from Shaddad ibn Aws, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed, among the best of your days is Friday; on it, Adam was created, on it is the blowing of the trumpet, and on it is the swoon. So increase your prayers upon me on it, for your prayers are presented to me." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, how are our prayers presented to you when you have decayed?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets." (Ibn Majah 1085) On the authority of Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the best of your days is Friday, so increase your prayers upon me on that day; for your prayers are presented to me." (Sunan Abi Dawud 1531, Ibn Majah 1636, Sunan Al ...
A List of Violent Verses from The Bible
(Use against those who say Islam tells to kill dis-believers): Jeremiah 48:10 (literally says those who don't shed blood are cursed violence being promoted) Ezekiel 9:5-7 Lamentations 2:20 (this is extremely violent and its being told that make a situation where women might eat their wombs as fruit and killing children etc) Joshua 6:21 (kill women and the children) Judges 21:10-12 (very violent one and telling to kill the women and the kids and only keep the virgins to enjoy them) Hosea 13:16 (literally talking about killing pregneant women so violently that rip her open) Deuteronomy 3:6 (kill all old and even destory single being alive including new borns) Joshua 10:28 Psalm 137:9 (Literally telling to smack the skull of new born with other ones or with rocks) Samuel 15:2-3 (destory the men and kill all the women) Deuteronomy 20:16-17 (leave nothing alive there and kill all without any mercy) Deuteronomy 2:34 and 3:6 Exodus 12:29-30 (in this its mentioned that God kil...
Virtues of Sayyiduna Umar Bin Khattab (RA)
In the virtues of Sayyiduna Umar Bin Khattab (RA) by Ibn Abi al-Dunya and the one by Al Suyuti, it is mentioned that the earth quaked during the time of Umar. He struck it with his hand and said: "What is wrong with you? What is wrong with you? If it were the Day of Judgment, it would have revealed its news." I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "On the Day of Judgment, there will not be a span or a cubit that does not speak." Imam Ahmad mentioned from Safiyyah the same narration and with a very strong chain of transmission. And since he struck the ground with his hand and commanded the earthquake to cease, not a single earthquake has occurred in the blessed city of Medina or in Mecca. And not a single scientific report ever recorded an earthquake there after that, and not even a narration is recorded of a single earthquake that came after that event and they stopped after that.
The legend of Mount Qaf (قاف) From the sources:
Abu Salih narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them. And Ikrimah also narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, saying God created a mountain called Qaf that surrounds the lower world, and its roots are connected to the rock on which the earth stands, and it is the rock mentioned by Luqman, peace be upon him, when he said: "O my son, if it is the weight of a mustard seed and it is in a rock or in the heavens or in the earth" [the verse]. So when God Almighty wants to shake a village on earth, He orders that mountain to move the root that is next to that village, and it shakes at that moment. Mujahid said: It is a mountain that surrounds the earth and the seas. It is narrated from Al-Dahhak that it is an emerald that is green. (From the works of Ibn Abi Hatim, Imam Ismael, Ibn Kathir tafsir, Ibn Hajar Al Haythami' fatwas 248 and the famous Ibn Abi Ad Dunya narrated it aswell in kitab Al qubat pg, 32). And a group of scholars believe that the wo...

Abu Jahl the loser
Once the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prostrated, Abu Jahl (LA) picked up a stone and approached him. But when he got close, he turned back, terrified and pale, his hands dried on the stone until he dropped it. The men of Quraysh came to him and said: "What's wrong with you, O Abu al-Hakam?" He said: I went up to him to do what I told you yesterday, but as I approached him, a male camel appeared in front of me. By God, I have never seen a head like his, nor a neck or tusks like his for any male camel. He was about to devour me. Abu Jahl's heroism was imaginary, and his boasting of threats was sophistical. It wasn't just once that he retreated, but many times, as narrated by the author of "Al-Halabiya" and Ibn Kathir in the biography, including: Al-Araashi, a man from the tribe of Khath'am, sold camels to Abu Jahl, who then delayed payment. The Quraysh directed him to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, knowing Abu Ja...
“al-Mawāhib al-Ladinnīyyaħ”, ʾImām ʾIbrāhīm al-Bājūrī ash-Shāfiʿī does Tawassul through the rank of the Prophet ﷺ for his closing Duʿāʾ.
"And this compilation, may God have mercy on him, was concluded by highlighting two significant points: an encouragement to perfect the science of Hadith, increasing in it, and exerting effort in acquiring it. He concluded it with what is commonly found in most books of Hadith: 'Indeed, actions are judged by intentions.' God has made the beginning and the end of this work the best, by the grace of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his family and companions." "To the esteemed gentlemen, may God unite us and them in the abode of peace, with peace. All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Worlds, and He is my sufficiency and the best guardian. There is no power and no strength except through God, the Most High, the Magnificent. It was a privilege for whoever compiled this book ..."
The Prophecy of Prophet Daniel (AS) explanation from the Bible of the ending of the 4 kingdoms and a Solid state replacing them
”goat of the wild beast ” that defeated the ram that symbolizes the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel (8:21) ”And the fourth kingdom will be solid as iron, for iron crushes and crushes all things.” ”And as iron breaks, it shatters and breaks in pieces all these” (this is about the Roman Empire) (Daniel (2:40) Nebuchadnezzar saw a stone cut out of a great mountain without a cutter, and it struck that statue on its feet, which were of iron and clay. And the blow was so strong that the whole statue was shattered, with its gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay, and became fragments and rubble, blown away by the wind, so that no trace of it was seen. But the stone that broke the statue became a great, high mountain, and the whole earth was filled with it. This is a prophecy of the emergence of Islam. Islam clashed at the beginning of the call with the Roman Empire and then with the Persian Empire. At that time, the Roman Empire had extended its authority over the Greek king of Alexandria ...
Imam An Nawawi (rh) on Muslim 2674 Hadith in the Sharh Sahih Muslim (vol:16/228)
"This Hadith [2674] Whoever calls to guidance and whoever calls to misguidance, these two hadiths are clear in urging the desirability of establishing good things and the prohibition of establishing bad things, and that whoever establishes a good Sunnah will have a reward like that of everyone who acts upon it, until On the Day of Resurrection, whoever establishes a bad practice will bear the burden of everyone who acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection. And whoever calls to guidance will have the rewards of those who follow him, or to misguidance will bear the sins of those who follow him, whether that guidance or misguidance was initiated by him or he was preceded to it, and whether that was teaching. Knowledge, worship, etiquette, or other than that. His statement, may God bless him and grant him peace, “and he acted upon it after him” means that if he established it, whether the action was during his life or after his death, and God knows best." And What is mentioned ...
Mulla Ali Qari’a commentary of the Shifa
The text in English is translated as followed: "... and it is not the place to mention all of them ('and in the narration is a long story'), meaning in the actions of the day and night for Ibn Al-Sunni, may Allah be pleased with him. Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, lost movement and weakness overcame his limbs, as though they were the limbs of a man overcome by laziness and incapacity, deprived of movement. It was said to him, 'Shall I remind you of the name of the most beloved to you, and will this affliction be removed from you?' He (Ibn Umar) responded with 'Yes.' So he called with the loudest of his voice, 'Ya Muhammadah!' (O Muhammad!). Immediately, his limbs were restored, and it was as though nothing had afflicted him." This is in volume 2, page 43 in the Sharh of Al Shifa. The Story being mentioned here is : He said, ‘If the person who said this had realised Islam, he would have become a Muslim.’ The meaning is that yo...
Prophet ﷺ will be a witness for the Ummah
There are 5 ayats in the Qur’an that say that the Prophet ﷺ will be an witness for the Ummah on the Day of Judgement. Those 4 ayats are : Surah Baqarah 2:143 , Surah An Nisa 4:41 , Surah Ahzab 33:45-46 , Surah Al Fath 48:8 , Surah Nahl 16:84/16:89. The other ayat about being a witness ( Surah Al Maida 5:117 ) is about the Prophet Isa(Jesus) AS implying that other Prophets and Messengers will be witness for their people. Also, Surah Al Isra 17:71 states that people will be summoned with "their leader". This could be mean deeds , Prophet or scripture. As per footnote in the ayat. The tafsir of Ibn Kathir says that the meaning could also mean "Imam , Mujahid". " Qatadah said that it meant each nation would be called to account by its Prophet. " "Ibn Zayd said it means they would be called to account by their Book which was revealed to their Prophet with its laws. " This links with this hadith: “ My life is good for you, and my death is good ...
Good Innovation and Bad Innovation from the views of Traditional and the Greatest Scholars of Islam and Evidence from the Text:
As the scholars Ibn Hajar and An Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on them) explained in their works ( Fath Al Bari and Sharh Sahih Muslim ): " That these two ahadith are about any act that is not in the Sunnah or from it ." And the hadith that every innovation is misguidance is also about the acts that are not from the Sunnah, an act that is not proven by the acts of the Companions or anywhere else from the text. And the Hadith about the Good Sunnah: " Whoever establishes a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the reward of whoever acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection. " And this means here the good deeds and we know that all the good deeds in Islam are from the Sunnah and if there is any other good deed then it is from the way of the Companions and the people of the Salaf. And innovation is what is not in the Sunnah or any act that cannot be proved from the Sunnah or from the views of the Companions or the Salaf, then they declared it as an innovation...
Ayats that are about Polytheists but are used against the wrong people
There are ayats in the Qur’an that are aimed at Meccan polytheists and/or disbelievers but in this day and age, some ignorants use them against believers of the religion. Surah Baqarah 2:170 When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” ˹Would they still do so,˺ even if their forefathers had ˹absolutely˺ no understanding or guidance? This ayat is aimed at the polytheists and disbelievers. It criticises them for rejecting the truth because they want to follow their ancestors in disbelief and idol worship. This ayat was revealed after a group of Jews refused to follow the truth instead wanting to remain in disbelief. Surah Al-An'am 6:116 "'O Prophet!˺ If you were to obey most of those on earth, they would lead you away from Allah’s Way. They follow nothing but assumptions and do nothing but lie. This ayat is aimed the majority of the people on earth which happened to be disbelievers at ...
Salawat تنجينا:
"Imam Al Saffouri (rh) writes in his book "كتاب نزهة المجالس ومنتخب النفائس" (2/86) "I saw the Prophet (SAW) in a dream one night and he told me to tell others to recite this : اللهم صل على محمد صلاة تنجينا بها من جميع الأهوال والآفات وتقضي لنا بها جميع الحاجات وتطهرنا بها من جميع السيئات وترفعنا بها عندك أعلى الدرجات وتبلغنا بها أقصى الغايات من جميع الخيرات في الحياة وبعد الممات عناق على كولي شاين قدير Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad salatan tunajjina biha min jami’ al-ahwal wal-afat wa taqdi lana biha jami’ al-hajat wa tutahhiruna biha min jami’ as-sayyi’at wa tarfa’una biha ‘indaka a’la ad-darajat wa tuballighuna biha aqsa al-ghayat min jami’ al-khayrat fil-hayati wa ba’da al-mamat, innaka ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir. Imam Al Razi in his Tafsir Al Kabir about the Hand of Allah (SWT)
(He is rejecting those who called that the Hand of Allah is a physical organ like humans) The evidence for this is that a body is inseparable from movement and stillness, which are new, and anything that is inseparable from the new is new, and because every body is infinite in size, and whatever is infinite in size is new, and whatever is infinite in size is new, and whatever is infinite in size is new And because every body is composed of parts, and everything that is so is susceptible to composition and dissolution, and everything that is so requires something to compose and synthesise it, and everything that is so is a novelty, thus proving in these ways that it is impossible for Him to be a body, so it is impossible for His hand to be a bodily member. As for the majority of monotheists, they have two opinions regarding the word hand: First: The statement of those who say: When the Qur'an proves that God's hand is a hand, we believe in it, and when reason proves that it is ...
The Reality of the Belief about the World being created for Rasool Allah (SAW) 💚
Muhammad Ibn Sinan said, "Hushaim said, "Sayyar - Abu al-Hakam - said, "Yazid al-Fakir said, "Jabir bin Abdullah said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "I was given five things that were not given to any of the prophets before me. I was given victory by terror (terror in heart of his enemies) for a month's march, and "the earth was made for me" a mosque and a sanctuary, and any man of my nation who is caught in prayer should pray (he can perform tayyamum anywhere from the earth), and I was given the right to the spoils of war, and a prophet used to be sent to his own people in particular, but I was sent to all men in general, and I was given intercession." [Sahih Al Bukhari 438] Its also narrated by Muslim and in other big Hadith collections. This hadith mentions the word that this world was created for me and as a mosque and other narrations such as the one in Musnad Ahmad which Ibn Kathir used in his tafsir only has th...
A thing you won't be asked about in grave - story!
Here's a mini story that you should ponder over. Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi said: Al-Suhrawardi said: I had decided to read something of the science of theology, and I was hesitant whether to read Al-Irshad by Imam al-Haramayn, or Nihayat al-Iqdam by al-Shahrastani, or the book of his Sheikh. So I went with my uncle Abu al-Najib, and he was praying next to Sheikh Abdul Qadir. He said: Sheikh Abdul Qadir turned to me and said: O Omar, this is not from the provisions of the grave, this is not from the provisions of the grave. So I went back from that, and he was informed that the Sheikh had revealed to him what was in his heart. And he forbade him from the speech that Al-Qushayri and the like were attributed to him. (The Book of Straightforwardness by Ibn Tayimiyyah pg 87 )

His saying: [Yazid bin Khalid bin Muhib Al-Ramli told us]. Yazid bin Khalid bin Mawhib Al-Ramli is trustworthy. His hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, Al-Nasa’i and Ibn Majah. [Al-Layth told us]. The Miracle of the Holy Prophet ﷺ
Omar ibn Dharr reported that Abu Huraira used to say, " By Allah, there is no god but Him, I would lean my liver on the ground out of hunger, and I would put a stone on my stomach out of hunger, and I was sitting one day on the road from which they go out, when Abu Bakr passed by and I asked him about a verse from the Book of Allah. , and I asked him only to satisfy me, and he passed by and did not do so; then 'Umar passed by and I asked him about a verse from the Book of Allah, and I asked him only to satisfy me, and he passed by and did not do so; then Abu Qasim (meeans the Prophet ﷺ), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, passed by and smiled when he saw me and knew what was in my soul and in my face, and said, "Abu Hurr."I said, "Go on." He said, "Follow me." He went on, and I followed him. He went inside and asked for permission, and I was given permission. He went in and found milk in a cup. He said, "Where did this milk come from?...
