Ahlu-Sunnah Al Islam

In the virtues of Sayyiduna Umar Bin Khattab (RA) by Ibn Abi al-Dunya and the one by Al Suyuti, it is mentioned that the earth quaked during the time of Umar. He struck it with his hand and said: "What is wrong with you? What is wrong with you? If it were the Day of Judgment, it would have revealed its news." I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "On the Day of Judgment, there will not be a span or a cubit that does not speak." Imam Ahmad mentioned from Safiyyah the same narration and with a very strong chain of transmission. And since he struck the ground with his hand and commanded the earthquake to cease, not a single earthquake has occurred in the blessed city of Medina or in Mecca. And not a single scientific report ever recorded an earthquake there after that, and not even a narration is recorded of a single earthquake that came after that event and they stopped after that.

Abu Salih narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them. And Ikrimah also narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, saying God created a mountain called Qaf that surrounds the lower world, and its roots are connected to the rock on which the earth stands, and it is the rock mentioned by Luqman, peace be upon him, when he said: "O my son, if it is the weight of a mustard seed and it is in a rock or in the heavens or in the earth" [the verse]. So when God Almighty wants to shake a village on earth, He orders that mountain to move the root that is next to that village, and it shakes at that moment. Mujahid said: It is a mountain that surrounds the earth and the seas. It is narrated from Al-Dahhak that it is an emerald that is green. Once the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prostrated, Abu Jahl (LA) picked up a stone and approached him. "This Hadith [2674] Whoever calls to guidance and whoever calls to misguidance, these two hadiths are clear in urging the desirability of establishing good things and the prohibition of establishing bad things, and that whoever establishes a good Sunnah will have a reward like that of everyone who acts upon it, until On the Day of Resurrection, whoever establishes a bad practice will bear the burden of everyone who acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection. The text in English is translated as followed: "... and it is not the place to mention all of them ('and in the narration is a long story'), meaning in the actions of the day and night for Ibn Al-Sunni, may Allah be pleased with him. There are 5 ayats in the Qur’an that say that the Prophet ﷺ will be an witness for the Ummah on the Day of Judgement. Those 4 ayats are : Surah Baqarah 2:143 , Surah An Nisa 4:41 , Surah Ahzab 33:45-46 , Surah Al Fath 48:8 , Surah Nahl 16:84/16:89. The other ayat about being a witness ( Surah Al Maida 5:117 ) is about the Prophet Isa(Jesus) AS implying that other Prophets and Messengers will be witness for their people. Also, Surah Al Isra 17:71 states that people will be summoned with "their leader". This could be mean deeds , Prophet or scripture. As per footnote in the ayat. As the scholars Ibn Hajar and An Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on them) explained in their works ( Fath Al Bari and Sharh Sahih Muslim ): " That these two ahadith are about any act that is not in the Sunnah or from it ." And the hadith that every innovation is misguidance is also about the acts that are not from the Sunnah, an act that is not proven by the acts of the Companions or anywhere else from the text. And the Hadith about the Good Sunnah:  " Whoever establishes a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the reward of whoever acts upon it until the Day of Resurrection. " And this means here the good deeds and we know that all the good deeds in Islam are from the Sunnah and if there is any other good deed then it is from the way of the Companions and the people of the Salaf. There are ayats in the Qur’an that are aimed at Meccan polytheists and/or disbelievers but in this day and age, some ignorants use them against believers of the religion. Surah Baqarah 2:170 When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” ˹Would they still do so,˺ even if their forefathers had ˹absolutely˺ no understanding or guidance? This ayat is aimed at the polytheists and disbelievers. It criticises them for rejecting the truth because they want to follow their ancestors in disbelief and idol worship. This ayat was revealed after a group of Jews refused to follow the truth instead wanting to remain in disbelief. Here's a mini story that you should ponder over. Muwaffaq al-Din Abu Muhammad ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi said: Al-Suhrawardi said: I had decided to read something of the science of theology, and I was hesitant whether to read Al-Irshad by Imam al-Haramayn, or Nihayat al-Iqdam by al-Shahrastani, or the book of his Sheikh. So I went with my uncle Abu al-Najib, and he was praying next to Sheikh Abdul Qadir. He said: Sheikh Abdul Qadir turned to me and said: O Omar, this is not from the provisions of the grave, this is not from the provisions of the grave. So I went back from that, and he was informed that the Sheikh had revealed to him what was in his heart. And he forbade him from the speech that Al-Qushayri and the like were attributed to him.    (The Book of Straightforwardness by Ibn Tayimiyyah pg 87 )

Bid'ah Al Hasana and Bid'ah Al-Sayyi'ah Imam Shafi's and Ahmad also narrated this hadith to explain it. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) also said: " Whoever introduces a good practice into Islam will have the reward for it and the reward of those who follow him in it, without being diminshed from their reward " ( Sahih Muslim ). Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: " The best of deeds are (which are innovated) as long as they are good. " ( Sahih al-Jami ') and i found this Hadith in Jami and i also saw it in the book of Imam Al Hajjawi (RA). And the concept of praying the tarawweh in the Mosque was also a bidah because the Prophet (ﷺ) did not do that for more than 3 days and Hadrat Umar and Hadrat Ali (RA) started it and it was a bidah ? no ? it was a Bidah aswell.
