Explanation of the Verse of Al Fatiha.

"You alone we worship, You alone we ask for help"

Worship here means that we humble oursleves infront of our Lord and Help means that we Ask him for it we don't say like the Mutazilites (deviant sect) that we don't need to ask for it.

And the Meaning of the Words is that we Worship you alone without any partner and we ask you to help us in your worship.

And this shows that there is nowhere in the explanation of it that we can't ask a doctor for help but this is rather help in worship.

The first statement was from Tafsir Tabari and this one is from the Tafsir of Imam Ibn Rajab:

We have to ask God for help because Mutazilites (deviant sect) said that we will not ask for help or guidance because we already have it. This is wrong and God dislikes such beliefs.  

In Tafsir of Imam Jalaluddin (rh) he also writes that a deviant group said we won't ask for help because we have it already but God dislikes such beliefs and such beliefs are on kufr because its the rejection of the Quran. And The Help here is also mentioned is with worship.

Imam Ibn Kathir (rh) in his tafsir uses the narration of Ibn Abbas (RA) that We worship you as one and seek help means we Obey him in all our affairs.

Making any other understanding of this verse is misguidance and explanaing it according to ones sect is also deviancy.

Shaykh Al Islam Ibn Qayyim (RA) said: "A large heart can contain great knowledge just as a large valley can hold a large amount of water; and a small heart can contain knowledge only in proportion to its capacity, just as a small valley holds a small amount of water.
